| From the Where2sing.com forum: i have never stopped any person singing a so called slow song at anytime of the night, some people are just comfortable singing slower songs, but as malley boy said, its all in the placement, you can always throw one in between a few quicker songs its not that hard to do. the shows i really dont like to sing at are the ones that have these terrible shortened songs (eg) 2 minute version of american pie or hotel california, if they dont want to have the proper version because its too long then dont have the song on the list at all. yes you may argue only the drunks sing these songs most of the time i agree but there are some people out there that can sing them absolutely great.
