| From the Where2sing.com forum: Well to be quite honest i thought that an Australian championship would at least have meant that we could have expected to be using top range equipment (SoundKing aint what i call top of the range) Kate as usual did a marvellous job of hosting with Kyle (Jason Akermanis) the level of singer was absolutely amazing , But making people wait 2 frigging hours to hear the Qld results was just ridiculous . sure half the auditorium left after the results were handed in but you expect that,seeing as most of them had to make the pilgrimage back to Brisbane etc from the Tweed. I knew that i wasn't going to win and wasn't putting big dollars on it either as many could attest to me playing my favourite game of ' make the spotlight operator earn his keep'.... The sound was good but Vic if you had your System there you would have made the place jump.and my Final gripe is why the hell do we have to go to NSW to have a Qld state final... at least this year the cockies can say they won something getting 1st and 2nd in the big one.
