| From the Where2sing.com forum: I have never disputed Kate's hosting abilities Hitman, as I too were in last year's Vic Final and have witnessed her abilities first hand. Oh, and it seems the tables have been turned and you seem to be making assumptions about me. (Yes I admit I did over think my post when I made my assumption and I do apologise) I have been around Karoke shows in some way for over 20 years. (I am assuming you have too and I am not questioning that) So I am well and truly ready to host and definitely capable in the technical areas due to my formal qualifications. Plus, if you are a host, how did you qualify to be in a State Final? Last of all, if I didn't think there was substance to what I heard last year, I wouldn't be mentioning it as I, like you, did not hang around to see the National Final, (as it too was run straight after the Vic Final last year) although I knew before the event that there was a very good chance the NSW contestant was going to win thanks to the rumours going around. And lo & behold, guess who won..... If this was just a coincidence, so be it but it didn't look good at the time. And if you saw my last post in the General Forum, you'll see that I have already had my attitude changed toward this competition by the 3rd place getter and my KWC venue co-finalist Mykel. So let's not hold any grudges and stop all these assumtions (as I have learnt already) and lets just enjoy karaoke!!
