| From the Where2sing.com forum: Vic, Congratulations on 400 shows at the RG, Go you good things, i believe the end of my Hiatus is coming up soon so will keep you posted lol. and as for your situation re gigs if they want the best they have to pay for the best and that means a fat contract if one pub wants to poach you. i had the opportunity years ago to have thurs at AC as well as fri at the Stafford but was told to stay at the Brook to do 2 shows a week...but that was when i was a host for a company not for myself.if they want you then they will make allowances if not then they will put a half arsed operation in to make do Peanuts gets monkeys & Bananas get Gorilla's as they old saying goes. will talk later after i go and put some peanuts outside barmans cage lmao
