| From the Where2sing.com forum: well yeah karaoke deaths in asia (especially in the philippines) has been well documented but that's more to do with alcohol-fuelled rage. what i'm after is any karaoke assaults stemming from trivial things like people stealing other songs, or hitting on your partner or companion, or just plain 'im better than you' type of crap. i've seen a lot of this especially at karaoke competitions and surprisingly, these types of conflicts mostly involve people who don't even drink. perhaps not as extreme as killing or bashing somebody but verbal abuse & even threats.
