| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi MB, I personally sing Hit The Road Jack frequently and am surprised I don't hear it sung by the punters as it always goes down so well, they sing along with it & it gets them to the dance floor. I recall singing it one night at a hotel in Adelaide during the show only to have the then Duty Manager (obviously not a music lover) come up and he told me not to sing it again at their pub as he felt I was telling his 'customers' to hit the road and that they don't want them there. Sorry, had to go away and have a good chuckle to myself!
I love the song, love to sing it and I will keep on signing it.
