I think I understand what you are after? My thoughts...perhaps some Boyz 2 Men (End Of The Road) and/or recent Human Nature cover material (not their sellout/NSync period inspired stuff). Those boys have some great harmony songs.... That HN song with John Farnham was pretty cool harmony wise...the recent HN stuff might work well as it is a bit cross generational given they have reworked some older material so successfully.... hope this helps and I am not on the wrong track with what you are after?
