| From the Where2sing.com forum: Barry , i seen that from the very start , you know the forgetting of the words , the Mentor taking a great leap of faith , the constant hand on the heart , the poor poor pitiful me routine , the Cave thing as i have said in a previous post its all a ''' put on '' for TV and to keep him in the public eye hey but lets face it , you have to do what you have to do to get votes and he and his mentor are possibly the most '' switch on '' with this type of thing going for votes , I'm just so amazed all these ''' tricks of the Trade '' still fool so many viewers in this day and age , but for me its all a little to '' Corny '' and old - hat , in fact the whole show is a little ''' Corny '' to me it reminds me of my old ''' Theatre restaurant days ''' 25 odd years ago
