| From the Where2sing.com forum: The issue is that the statistical sample is unlikely to be large enough to represent what the list is attempting to achieve. Alternative? There is none really. To make suggestions to singers as to what gigs are of good quality and what gigs aren't you first have to define those parameters and you will *never* ever get a practical consensus on what defines a good karaoke show. Even if you could, you'd never get any kind of agreement on which shows fit the criteria and which don't.
Really, the only way to do it is for only hosts to vote for gigs other than their own; hosts likely being in a better position to be able to say what a good gig should look like but that reduces your sample even further.
I personally think the full gig reviews of the old days works better.
