I agree entirely on your take/s on this now weather beaten topic. It is up to hosts to promote Where2Sing.com to the singers which, in turn, keeps the site alive and enables it to grow in popularity. Without singers - we as hosts have nothing. With Where2Sing.com, we have a useful tool which is a bonus. Where else can a singer jump on the net to find a karaoke gig near to where they'll be on a particular time. It makes us smile when we have singers (from interstate) who tell us they found us through Where2Sing.com.
I also use Where2Sing as I travel interstate (much too) regularly. I've met some great people and expanded my 'network' as a result.
Mary & I were in Adelaide from Mon-Wed this week and had (thx TBM) Where2Sing to help us find somewhere to sing.
Footnote: 'POSITION VACANT' - Karaoke Host required in Adelaide on Tuesday nights. Sadly for us, there wasn't one operating!
