| From the Where2sing.com forum: LB, Rob Deal was one of the few hosts who was quite comfortable with the reviews, but many read only the negatives and perceived negatives. You might remember that I wrote not only a substantial number of gig reviews, but a couple of 'karaoke travels' series, and whilst the reviews took a fair time to write, I often spent even more time defending them afterwards. Much as with the ongoing Top 10 debate, having such reviews done by one inappropriately biased person (me) was deemed not to be of value. I think you are one of the very few others who have written reviews, and whilst I personally enjoy reading them, and thank China for his occasional and ongoing reviews which I always find interesting, it's frankly a brave person who writes them - and it's time consuming and gets little thanks.
Karaoketragic (Mary), thanks for promoting W2S, and I'm sure it'll also return the favour to your own gigs in patronage that recognises that you're highly enthusiastic about your karaoke. As for the full-colour A4 pages that I made and distributed to those who requested them a few years ago, that was at a time when W2S was unknown to most singers, and served its purpose at the time.
