| From the Where2sing.com forum: No Rovic's,at this venue theres not many listeners either!.Its a great venue,I really like it.But I honestly dont know how this show is still there.I have no problem with singing upbeat songs,in fact I prefer them.But I'm mainly a country singer and I like to try and get people up dancing, so my songs are not slow ones.This host doe's try and make a good show,he works hard,but the venue (as interesting as it is)does'nt seem to attract the crowds anymore,that it used to do.It's a long way out of town and on the edge of an Industrial site,so I suppose thats one of the reasons.There have been some really popular karaoke shows here,one was a charity night which reaped heaps of money for the young lady that has since passed away.
Hiya Kev,Yes we also spend quite a lot of money at this venue,Dinner etc.But as Diabetics we dont drink anything more than diet soft drinks,but hubby drinks enough of that per night to sink a battle ship.lol.It all adds up at the end of the night, and really to be told that theres a limit to what a person can sing,doe's put some singers off,I guess. I can only think that,thats the reason theres not many people going to this show.Hope your still enjoying your retirement Kev.
