| From the Where2sing.com forum: MA: You can absolutely control what people to sing after they've submitted their choices. If you came up to me at 11pm and asked to sing Chasing Cars, i'd recommend perhaps doing something a little more intune with the crowds mood.
Were people dancing to the karaoke songs? If not, were people singing songs that could be danced to?
Last night at the Royal we had most of the crowd turn up around 10:30 and while they didn't dance to every song, there was a buzz. You don't need to get people to dance in order to make them think they're enjoying themselves..
