| From the Where2sing.com forum: Yes I agree completely LB and MB. I love the country SA shows and prefer only to do country. It is hard work to get therse shows up and going because you don't have a string of singers with songs at the beginning of the night. I have to draw them in. I have to be super enthusiastic, get out there in the crowd with the song list and talk to people before we start. Invite people to come up and sing a song with me, and give lots of encouragement to all singers good and bad. I even go out into the crowd with the cordless mic and get people to sing along to the chorus at the bar. A dead night can turn into a raging party at the end of the night. It's just hard work sometimes. It doesn't ever just be a cruisey night. But I find that people have a good time and if we do that place again
it is always better!
