I think the difference is that a 'shits and giggles' crowd is more the mob that get up on stage to do summer nights and flales around laughing. Once you start factoring in swearing or aggressive behaviour or stripping then yes, I fully agree that security should step in and do their job.
But just singing summer nights badly and being a bit noisy and enthusiastic shouldn't be grounds for exclusion. Yes, I can fully understand that some older people might fell uncomfortable with such a crowd but...
