Thank you for the welcome Fozzie Bare, Muffy and Mic Rophone, it was very nice to be welcomed on to this site and made to feel at home. I am considering becoming a subscriber, but I just want to settle down in my new home and get the feel of the area. I do have friends who will either show me how to get to some of these places that all of you have mentioned, maybe they might even come with me.
Mic Rophone you seem to know the lady who I mentioned was on the console at St Marys Band Club karaoke. I didn't mean to say anything offensive about her, but I have been around a few karaoke shows both in WA and in SA as well and I have seen better console operators that her. The compare, Mick, did mention her name, I remember it as being something unusual, but I don't remember what it was. I thought that Mick was a good compare, I liked his style, very friendly and welcoming, and his antics on the night had me in stitches. I will go back there again soon. It all depends on the shifts that I have as I work in the medical field and work rotating shifts.
