| From the Where2sing.com forum: BT: nope haven't been to one & i've never watched it on telly either. doesn't mean though that i shut myself to the spirit of christmas. like LB, i don't have problems with xmas carols at karaoke & i don't discourage it either. but it all depends on where i sing karaoke. at chatswood rsl's wednesday gigs we do one christmas-themed karaoke once a year i did actually sing not one but two. but in a pub venue where you're lucky to get in 2 songs & with a vibrant, boozed up audience, i'd rather do something that they might appreciate more.
