If you're still singing the same songs you were last year (& the year before that !!) , do yourself ... & the audience who have to sit through it a favour & launch into some new tunes !! ... Try a duet ... I've always said if everyone sang duets , we'd all get to do twice as many songs...
Last friday at the Vic in Warnambool, one of the best parts of the night was singing a couple of Beatles songs with a terriffic Scottish fellow named Alan (do you know him Barman?) . We dubbed ourselves the ''Beat-Ups'' & had a ball !!
Barman ... Don't be satisfied with the list you already have. Your patrons will love you if you're introducing ''new blood'' to your song list. I believe if you have the best song list & the best equipment , you'll attract the best singers & provide the best entertainment for your venue , a quality that can only help your show ...lol
Oh & sorry I wont be in Geelong tonight as I'm back in Sydney already , but have a great show ! Hope to catch up sometime during the year ...
