| From the Where2sing.com forum: To the missinformed poster/ host from WA, well I am also a f/t staff member at the lakers and if you rang to confirm, all staff are aware of the karaoke and no one should have told you otherwise. I never realised how catty the hosts of some karaokes were in WA until I have had to deal with them coming in offering all sorts to get the gig, and lets face it sometimes reading w2s is more entertaining than Days of our Lives. The hosts of this show told me they try to stay out of it all, when I mentioned they were not listed with w2s, and only now am I starting to realise why. Niether did you state how you come by this information until now, so sorry that this lead to my opinion of boycotting and sorry I am still not convinced. Hosts that support all throughout WA shouldnt be trying to obtain other hosts gigs. so you heard the Lakers no longer had karaoke, naturally being a host and all, you rang to see if you could get a gig,? when you didnt get a gig, you posted on w2s.... mmmm... something doesnt add up here. people are already laughing mate..... read anything interesting recently?
