| From the Where2sing.com forum: Sure , there may a level of '' Career personal '' that receive wages in organisations like the Red cross / Salvo's but there are many thousands around the country that Volunteer there time , just go to any Opo shop and you will find these wonderful people , but as i've said we in Aust are well set up to handle things with personal , money , equipment etc etc , that's why when horrible things like this happen we only see a low rate of sadly death / injury , where as in many country similar disasters we seem to hear of tens of thousands of death / injury , thus it would seem to me as much as we need support they in many other countries have a much far greater need
