| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hey BTSK... did not forget about the mighty DX7... just seems like every second band had one and am just a bit of a Roland and Korg fan is all. My favourite band, Duran Duran, were one of the few bands to successfully get through the 80's without ever using a DX7 or DX9... I remember reading an interview with Nick Rhodes who was speaking on the very topic of the DX7, and if Duran had ever used one - he said no, because he didn't want Duran to sound like everyone else.... I did own a 'baby' DX100 though at one stage, so I am not totally anti Yamaha!
