I am the most technically-challenged person in this Forum when it comes to equipment and all - although I completed a TAFE short-course on live-sound reproduction (designed for experienced DJs and self-taught wannabe sound-engineers) before I took on karaoke hosting, I am no better off.
Like EVERYTHING else in life, we will never get 100% agreement on the matters / equipment discussed - It's all a matter of personal preferences - If we attend each others show, I believe that none of us will 'get all the boxes ticked' by any of us here! Such is life!
PS: The sight of 5 different mics being used by 5 individuals singing the same song (individually in parts, and, in harmony) to the same band (backing music) really fried my simple mind!
