| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi Tony , Yes the Riverina is just up the road a bit from the 'Wimmera / Mallee '' and the Pianola was big here too , still is in a way as a friend of Mine has a shop and does repair / refurbish piano's and Pianola's plus he makes by hand the most beautiful quality Grandfather clocks and cast steel outdoor furniture and we often with a group just stand around singing to the pianola and yes the words are in perfect timing so it makes me wonder did the Japanees '' invent karaoke or did they just come up with a name and started marketing the idea with some new equipment ? , because the pianola has been around for long time .
