| From the Where2sing.com forum: I would be lost without my mobile. I have geolocation set publicly so that services like Google can send me information relevant to my location. I like that I can search some word on my map and have the most local results returned first, and shown on the map - it beats my car GPS hands down for finding places, and it even tells me where I am. I like that my photos and videos are geotagged so I know where I was when I took them, and I love having a camera and video camera in the pocket in the same device. I love knowing who's calling, and I find sms so much better than silly long conversations on the phone. I read the news on my phone at Starbucks - that's the news that happened an hour ago, not the news that happened two days ago for which I'll have to wait for tomorrow's newspaper to read. I like having a question, and being able to Google it right then and there. I find the compass very useful, and great not to have to carry an old-fashioned one separately in my pocket. I love being able to carry my documents as photos stored in my phone rather than something I might lose, and I love being able to store videos I can show friends just by hooking my phone up to their computer or big TV screen. I'm impressed that digital photos mean I can take thousands at almost zero cost, and have them right there and then, not a week after I've finished the film and taken it (max 36 exposures) to the chemist. I love that all this comes in a pocket device that cost me less than $1000 yet is many times more powerful than the phones of a few years ago that cost be upward of $3000. My monthly bill is less than $30, and I love that too.
