| From the Where2sing.com forum: David, in answer to your question as to why I 'seem' to have made an accurate call on a shill, I actually didn't even know who made the comment. As we all said earlier before we found who exactly made the comment, I ASSUMED. Although now it seems, my assumption was a little accurate but not 100%. Yes, the comment was made on Corey's w2s account, but by his father. Did Corey know this at the time? NO! He found out after he asked Mary about a couple of emails he had received from you a couple of days later. Did Mary initially know about the comment and who made it? NO!! She found out at the exact same time Corey did! Did Mary initially confuse Singer41's comment with the one in question? YES!! This was confirmed by me when she told me about it BEFORE Mary & Corey discovered your emails and made the connection to the correct poster of said comment. Was any of this a pressured statement?? NO!! I'm nobody's puppet!! Did I correct my explanation under duress? NO!! I OFFERED!!! In fact Mary would have left it at the phone call she made to me expressing her views and would have been happy with my private apology for commenting in a way that would have given the appearance of compromising the integrity of her show. Remember, this is her livelyhood!! As I have said before and will always continue saying, Mary runs one of Western Melbourne's best Karaoke Shows, I'd have said that regardless of this week's events. I would never say anything against her as she is someone who doesn't have a mean bone in her body and is always putting her singers, both regular and new, first! Have you made assumptions in this? YES! Have you been a little insensitive in your accusations? YES. Does the post below from KT surprise me? NO! In all of this you have questioned Mary's integrity, Corey's integrity and to a point mine. Rather than make these assumptions on people you have never even met in person, put your money where your mouth is, get yourself back to your home country and come pay a visit to both Mary's and my shows and then tell us if your accusations are warranted. I can assure you, when it comes to Mary's show, you'll be very much proven wrong. As for mine, I'm not into blowing my own trumpet, so I'll leave that to others. Last of all, please let this be the last word, both here and on the singer's comments section of the gig in question, until you can actually verify any wrong doing that is genuine, and I can absolutely assure you there has been none.
