There is one serious problem, that until it is sorted out, I will not be going to the Carlisle.
I MUST MAKE CLEAR. THAT THE FOLLOWING REMARKS ARE NOT MEANT AS A PERSONAL WINGE.IT IS FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL KAROAKE GOERS, AUDIENCE,PERFOMERS,KJs, THE LOT.
Thet problem is the lack, at least the night I dared to park my car there.Unless the staff are waiting for repairs, as long as there are no outside security lightning, I don't feel safe there.In 2004, toward the end of my 1st stint there under its former management, My car was in the dark. The area is a rough part of Perth,and I learned the hard way to ALWAYS check what valueables might be left in the car.That day, I had been to a car show with my two cameras, My dear,late father gave to me, and for ONCE, I forgot to check. It must have been some scumbags off the street, who were looking for something to steal, they had smashed the back window of my hatchback, then found the cameras and stole them.And it was on his birthday!
I sang a tribute song to his spirit,and was well received by the audience.Only when the lights are on with secuity video camera, is set up, will I go to the Carlisle, because the KJs do a great job doing what they do.
