| From the Where2sing.com forum: I can agree with most of that I guess...by the same token Kev..Why did you get yourself a set of EV speakers?...a set of no name speakers from Cash converters would probably done the same job? in a noisy crowded venue?.
We all know that to achieve the best sound possible from a PA system... its all the small incremental things you do down the chain that make the difference at the speaker end...why start with a poorer quality of sound in the first place? particularly when you don't have to.
I am certain that 110db of Music @128 bit for 4 hours will cause far more hearing fatigue than the same @ 320bit...ever been to a Karaoke where you are just NOT able to stay in the room for long due to the harsh sound?...this may initially NOT be apparent to you however I do believe that at the end of the day it just could be a determining factor that ultimately determines crowd numbers
