| From the Where2sing.com forum: Scotty - that's what happens at one karaoke on a thursday here in sydney. The 'host' doesn't actually have books out in the room, if you want to sing a song, you have to go ask 'her' if she has it and only if she does and she wants you to sing, then you will get a song!
If a song is in my songbook, then it is available to sing regardless, but like LB I won't buy songs such as Friday by Rebecca Black, simply because I don't want that trash at my show.
