| From the Where2sing.com forum: Just a few comments about books versus computers- Because I have been singing now for a few years, I keep my own list of songs I like to sing although I still depend on the Host to pick the best version or I request a tried and well known Brand -eg Sunfly.. New or infrequent singers on the night are not always able to remember titles or artists and this is where books in addition to computer requests come in handy. I think it is wonderful that the majority of Hosts are moving into the computer generation as we the singers now get so much choice.Sometimes too much choice. If I forget my list I have a lot of trouble remembering which songs I want or Artists I like to sing(possibly early Alzheimers lol). This is where books will ALWAYS be important.
So all I am saying is -Bring on computers but please keep a few books handy because the human mind can only remember so much!!!!!
