| From the Where2sing.com forum: Jason....Sounds to me like you did the only sensible thing to do...... vote with your FEET!!! I've come across similar places with similar attitudes & taken a similar course.... OUT of here !!! Although, I am curious to know what song you did that pissed them off . Iwas at St. Pat's in town a few wed. ago & saw abloke come in & sing 'Black' & was told a couple of nights later that that was you! I thought you did a terrific rendition, & was really hoping to here another song or 2 out of ya! but you only gave us the 1 song cameo that evening. From what I heard though , youwould do most songs justice.
No doubt most people who have been at Karaoke for a while would have come across the 'hey, that's my song ' attitude. You just tell them 'Oh sorry ..... I didn't see your name next to it'....!! If you have a broad mind at Karaoke you want to be singing different songs all the time . JEEZ !! I've seen some people still singing the same stuff after 10 - 12 years (BORING !!) Keep up the good singing Lad !!.........
