At the end of the day, a host can run their rotation however they like and provided they have a specific reason for running it like that and by and large, they are achieving what they want to achieve, then the host is doing their job.
Running a rotation is a lot like creating a national budget, the only people you hear from are the people who didn't get something personally out of it.
