MB, I see what you are saying, but you can't afford to drop the ball at all, even with the serial complainers. Now I see customer service in karaoke to be no different to the CS I've been used to over the previous 20+ years in the other 2 professions I have been involved with. If I were to 'drop the ball' with serial complainers in those industries, due to overwhelming competition in both sectors, I would have been swallowed up in an instance! Now I see karaoke to be no different. Things are getting more affordable with regards to setting up a decent system, so I would be careful who you decide is a serial complainer and who is really an informed person posing as an everyday karaoke singer. Hence why everyone should be treated equal to their face, what happens after that is up to you, but I would definitely be sure they are treated as if they are right whenever they are around. As I stated earlier - 'Your ability to make sure you fix their problem and keep them feeling like they are right is the key, even though you may quietly chuckle to yourself that you knew they were wrong or there was no problem all along.'
