| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hey guys (as a Host and singer) I’ve been using W2S from near the start of its inception.
The value of W2S to me has been excellent over the years.
Firstly when I use to travel extensively around Australian in my job, it was my godsend finding Karaoke Venues in which I could indulge my thirst of ale and song not to mention meeting people of the same likes and interests.
I’ve always found when travelling, a safer much more reliable crowd at Hotels and Clubs which held Karaoke Shows at night, especially in towns or cities I had never visited before.
By the way I have been too heaps of Karaoke Venues in every State and Territory though out Australia and also Overseas.
During my time on W2S I’ve also seen plenty of fiery debates (and been involved in some too) lol.
As a Host I never expected W2S to supply me with droves of singers each week but a platform in which I could talk to fellow singers and Hosts alike.
Every Host has to use their own talents and marketing strategies in getting good crowds and maintain them in a game of survival.
Having said that I have had quite a few W2S singers and Hosts visit my Shows over the years.....why because they saw it on W2S.
If anyone gives me a call to ask Where to sing Karaoke, I always direct them to W2S...Why?
Because it’s still the most reliable and best way of finding “Where 2 Sing”
