| From the Where2sing.com forum: Today's '' Boiling Point '''(in a nutshell) why do good singers from Bands go into karaoke Comps and they shouldn't , this is an age-old question yet a very simple one , they go into karaoke Comps because they can ! and really the people that get upset by this sort of thing should NOT blame the ''' band '' singer ( pro or semi pro ) hey lets face it many Hosts and indeed Venues welcome these singers and tend to lean towards them because they want the ''' Profile '' a Comp can deliver and the Venue to be regarded with the highest standard possible , they know the '' Mug punter '' who loves there karaoke will come back once all the ''Vultures'' are gone yet the host and Venue is left with a great profile .....( in many cases )
