c) show a short term/immediate profit ..with the view of making the venue proifitable without the need of regular comps
Believe it or not ...I have only just purchased 'American Trilogy ' for the first time in 10 years ...and I cant wait to hear it sung...hahahahaha....and really.... I don't care what they sing to be honest....from my point of view ANY song sung well is a good song....At the moment we have mainly attracted ROVICS faithfuls to this venue...that situation of course cannot last....this also becomes detrimental to our long established venues as in particular in these difficult times there is less money able to be spent on entertainment by your regulars
My concern is... that I cannot be certain as to what type of crowd (if any) this venue will attract...given the fact that all of our long term venues invariably are supported by a younger audience...we don't seem to keep the typical Karaoke Tragic for too long...Why that is I don't really know? ...Maybe too long a wait between songs?....to many of the very young and often very good singers that we seem to attract...maybe I am using the wrong deodorant?...lol
