| From the Where2sing.com forum: Sunday in the day time maybe an idea or monday night.It would have to be when there are no gigs on and we could raise some dollars for say CANTEEN or chose one that we are all happy with.
I would chase up sponsers with my local business contacts and we also could get prizes to raffle and play games to win prizes.
the main think is that we use ours talents in sing to have fun as well as help someone in need.
If it works well maybe we can alll make it a once a month.It would be up to you all that get involed to make it work and it would be your night. any suggestions on final details would be from your iders. I would provide the P.A and songs list but others to could bring songs along as well. We would all put in for the rent of a place. Maybe a hall all a club. I f you are a club member sometime it is worth it to them to give you free access to there hall.
I think with some if we all got together to do this we would be able to have some fun ,meet up ,and do something with our voice to help people in need.
I would know of about 20 -30 people that would support this and in the past have been able to raise over $500 for canteen by singing.
Main thing is we have fun and feel good about it.
