| From the Where2sing.com forum: One thing I don't get about the Karaoke industry in QLD....there are 2 or 3 multi rig operators who it would seem have worked (and lost ..due to poor results) almost every available venue in the Brisbane area ....the strangest part is that often these operators will secure many of these venues for a 2nd 3rd or even 4th time even though each time proved to be unsuccessful ...sometimes months or even years later... only to have them fail yet again??...do venues not keep records?...or are the marketing campaigns of these operators so compelling as to make entertainment managers go weak at the knees?...or is price the only consideration?
This to me seems very strange behaviour on the part of venue managements indeed...and NOT good for our industry
