| From the Where2sing.com forum: about a year ago we almost secured a venue (Runcorn) on which we had our eye for some time as having great potential for Karaoke due to a very large and well patronised restaurant....all went well until price was discussed...in fact they were only prepared to pay just over half of our normal fee....I of course said ' no thank you'...they at that time promptly re-employed the previous host that had been relatively unsuccessful previously.....go figure as they say ?
Although not 100% certain on my facts ...I am told the Karaoke there second time around only lasted 2-3 months.
BTW no more Bowls or golf clubs for Rovics.....unless the average age of the patrons are well under 70 so as our PA system will not distort their hearing aids ...lol
