| From the Where2sing.com forum: When Your On A Good Thing ,Stick To It, a smart manager would not only keep a happening host but also give a incentive, such as a bonus when the bar reaches a certain take ,this is who i built up many great karaoke places.
One would have to tread very carefully with this. if you are offered a incentive you would have to be careful as to not be seen trying to push drink sales on customers. Senario; The karaoke host was pushing all night to get us to keep the bar happy, its their fault i am over the limit = responsable service of liquor. This could get nasty if it came to a point of law. I know ultimately it is the bar staffs responsibility as to whether they serve or not but be careful.
