| From the Where2sing.com forum: Hi..Lots of changes in the pub culture in Victoria , not only new smoke laws soon , but new noise level laws already happening , i know of one host who has already lost there regular gig because the police wanted noise level brought down to 60 desabels , which is lower volume than some people speaking voice , so the pub canned all entertainment ,also the pub over the road has canned bands and other such entertainment , interesting days ahead for the pub scene ( which in Vic . is much bigger than the club scene ie.. rsl and servicers clubs..
