| From the Where2sing.com forum: David ..is a '' rapper '' a singer? ,technically no yet they entertain crowds ,have full equipment set-ups ,get paid and could even ''rap'' at the odd karaoke show somewhere but they are not actually singing , is a crooner'' a singer , technically no yet they entertain crowds , have full equipment set-ups , get paid and could even '' croon'' at a karaoke show somewhere in the world , but both could say '' hey I'm going to have a Sing at karaoke tonight or i have a singing gig this weekend , singing is a general term use in our day to day life , it doesn't mean the person is actually a Singer , same as a person that goes to a karaoke show and has a '' go '' at a song or two it doesn't mean they are a '' singer ''' , they are a person that is having a '' go '' at singing , now i don't know how many '' nouns or verbs or adjectives '' are in this comment but i hope you get my point lol
