| From the Where2sing.com forum: I agree David that it is ''mind boggling 'how technology is moving ahead in leap and bounds ,and many of us older folks (50+) just shake our heads in amazement in just over 10 years we have gone from an old world charm to a new and exciting world, young parents these days have no option but to invest in the full gamma of exciting technologies available and keep a very close eye on developments in the field for there kiddies to grow , we older folk know of the ways of yesterday so if there was a big '''black out '' in the world we would be able to survive but the young would be lost , the other day i was speaking to some one my age who has no interest in the new world and he was at wits end getting a digital box for the Tele , now he spoke of a time when kids ( myself included ) had endless fun with ''Marbles '' and '' icy pole stick '' races down the guttering system , sure we had a world of fun But the world has changed , humans have changed and if you wish to succeed in the future you better get with the program !
I love the technology available , i embrace it and i look forward to the future for more , even though its a battle for me to keep up with because it doesn't come natural to me as i came from that ''Marble & Icy pole stick '' era
