| From the Where2sing.com forum: thanks for all your comments re gigs, I guess we started out many years ago with the 'Hobby Host' as Steve is an excellent sound tech we find our shows go into venues and stay as the sound is always great, if you have bad singers as karaoke does, steve can improve the sound and make it easier on all in the room also gives the singer confidence which is what it is all about to get up again. We now have 9 gigs and have had to train a few people to work with us and that is exactly what they do, work with us aretrained to our high quality standards use all of our first grade equipment as we do never compromise on sound. We also run a very successful DJ Service which I personally do, and cover many weddings so I would have to say music is our passion as well as obviously making money. We do have a healthy loyal following but all these people understand they are not given priority to newbies everyone gets a fair share of songs and their music doesnt get stale as we have a little game where steve will pick their songs for them to make it interesting ! We agree with competition and we have never been the cheapest or the most expensive, we enjoy what we do and keep that in perspective. it is also sad when people put comments on our venues that are so untrue classic example the Spark Bar Sandown park....no stage crowded tables this could not be further from the truth, it has a huge stage, dance area, couches and awesome seating so I try hard not to take to much of what is said to heart ! we do our best train our hosts to do likewise but the same old story you just cant please everyone, keep it happy and remember its all about fun !!!!
