| From the Where2sing.com forum: There were a few venues I’ve attended where trivia preceded karaoke & although I initially thought that this is an ideal set up to get more singers at karaoke, it didn’t work out that way. Menzies in the city ran a popular trivia (not sure if it’s still on) with karaoke immediately following it but only the trivia host & a couple of friends stayed & only for one song. Same thing on a Friday gig in Gladesville with music trivia. You’d think that people will be staying for karaoke but it wasn’t the case & the karaoke that followed didn’t last long.
