| From the Where2sing.com forum: My own person opinion on hosts singing but also with all of their processes is that they should be able to justify why doing it that way is the best way to achieve their decided outcome. The EE philosophy is 'everyone who wants to sing gets an opportunity to so'. This means that every song a host sings, there is potentially one less singer who gets at least one song. There are times I can justify the host singing in every show (Friday night we had 9 rounds in 4 hours) but usually not so much.
I hate telling people there's no more time for a song so the less I sing, the less likely it is I have to say it.
