It's been discussed on here many a time. What constitutes a 'fair' rotation?
It varies greatly, as it depends on the Venue, the duration of the gig, the normal expected number of singers, etc.

At one of my gigs, (4 hours), we have close to 50 singers. Therefore only a couple of people, (those from the very start of the night), get more than one song. We also have to stop taking requests about half way through, due purely on the numbers. I have people still coming up to me with 15 minutes to go trying to request a song.

Where at another of my gigs, we only have about 10 or so singers. Therefore those that stay get 3, 4, or 5 songs each, and we keep taking requests up to about a 1/2 hour from the end.
