| From the Where2sing.com forum: You know on quite a few occasions with Wolfie's show , early in the night there may be only a singer or 2 and he & I have a ''Cabaret '' routine where we may sing for 30 to 45 mins (longer maybe ) and incorporate the singers we have on hand at that time into the cabaret now of course the songs are song that only folks from Mars wouldn't know but every one on earth would lol but we do this simply because we want folks that come in over that 30 to 60 mins to enter a happening place , to feel comfortable knowing there is some great karaoke atmosphere happening plus to create an entertaining moment/s ( first impressions and all that bis ) , keeps the boss happy with Wolfie too ! , it work very well always and the 1 , 2 or 3 people there really feel part of the night and the drinkers are entertained , this is always better than some daggy recorded music , naturally as the night gets going and a few more singers come in , Wolf goes back to hosting and i go back to being part of the crowd but also there are times ( and this means alot in a country town ) when we would get there and a drinker at the bar would say something ''' hope you fellas are in the mood to sing cause its Bob Bobbers 21 st tonight and i think Joe Blow is also having a bit of a Do too'''...BANG !!!!! Half the town gone lol , so we put in plans to cover the 4 hours with a mixture of cabaret , karaoke and some stand up comedy but its always for '' Mechanical reasons '' ( workings of the show ) , one of these days I'm going have the '' charge wolfie '' for my time lol naaa he's a great mate and he's my bother in law and the wife ( Wolfies sister ) would have my '' Guts for guarder''
