Well, in EE's case, if I read things right, David is of the opinion that you guys should never rest on your laurels, but be on a continuous upward and onwards spiral for bigger and better gigs for as long EE wishes to be a successful karaoke business; and if I have interpreted David's posting correctly, I believe that David also quoted Rob Deal's operation as an example of what he meant.
Thanks David for clarifying. And yes, it is also MY OPINION (whether in an idealistic or a real world situation) that even an 8 year-old ongoing successful gig needs to build on its base - otherwise (again MY INTERPRETATION) one MAY get the same-old same-old, week-in week-out, year-in year-out.
PS: A qualification to my previous post's closing comment that 'I for one would be extremely happy with a karaoke show of 14-16 singers': I should qualify that statement so that it will not be taken out of context - I should have added 'at any venue with an accompanying minimum non-singing free-spending audience of 30+' Yes, it is an idealistic statement.
