| From the Where2sing.com forum: Why is it that in Australia we don't '' look after our own ''' ,any hopeful karaoke artist that is hoping to make it on a professional level will certainly be '' pushing sh*t up hill '' to get any ''airplay '' from commercial radio stations as they are lobbying to have the 25 % ratio for Australia music played gone ! , gee's its being around 12 months since an Australian artist has had a No1 (Gotye ) since Guy's No 1 late last year , i can remember when Australian music charts where full of acts , holding top places up the charts and many places in the top 40 year after year , now they just ram down our ears a select number limited acts from USA and the UK , which is fine but give our own talent a go too .
