From the Where2sing.com forum:

Oh i agree China , but its always been the same, some acts one likes some acts one dislikes , but my dislike is coming from more of a ''over heard '' thing , i'm sick to death of the same old same old , on the radio FM there just seems to be a handful of singers they play over and over ( please remember in the country except for ABC stations we have only One FM station until we get to a major town or city ) , don't forget ACDC ( Bon Scott era) , but there have been heaps through to 80's and 90's singers and bands but the power days of Aussie music is gone sadly , but why are the young so interested in 70's and 80's music , now i know some will say ''mum and dad , brothers , sisters '' but hey it was the same when i was growing up my parents and siblings were playing 50's and 60's music and although i enjoyed it ( and still do ) i still very much got into my own era of music and i love many artists of today , but my comments is that we need to ''Invest more into our own Artists '' and the radio / record Co's need to take ''risks / gamble like they once did and Australian must become more patriotic and look after there own , like the Yanks do , they worry about there own back yard and there own interests first and foremost , gee's i was in Melb not so long ago i would swear i was in the ''Bronx of new York , every one ( well not everyone lol ) but a whole lot of many were dressed like American hoods and every car had R&B music blasting out the boot of the car , now if that is not American COMMERICAL brainwashing , what is then.
